As some of you may be aware, last year we were fortunate enough to win the medium business award at the Whitehorse Business Group – Excellence in Business Awards. A wonderful achievement that the whole company were immensely proud of, this award meant that we were automatically entered into the Medium Enterprise Category at the 2014 Melbourne South East Business Awards. The Melbourne South East Business Awards is the premier business awards recognition program in the south east region of Melbourne and seeks nominations from each of the MSE Council’s respective business awards programs and its category award winners to compete for business awards from a range of award categories, culminating in the selection of the ‘Best of the Best’. Ian Barker Gardens were thrilled to represent the City of Whitehorse at the MSE Business Awards Gala Dinner, which was held on Friday 9th May at the Karralyka Centre in Ringwood East. Our director Scott Tymkin and his lovely wife Mandy attended the awards night on behalf of the company and by all accounts, had a fantastic evening mingling with representatives from all the wonderful businesses in Melbourne’s South East. Unfortunately, we did not take out the Medium Enterprise Award on the night, but were absolutely delighted to be counted as finalists and of course to represent the City of Whitehorse.
