The Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show is not just another event. It’s a vibrant celebration of creativity, nature, and the endless possibilities that come with a love for the outdoors. Having had the privilege of attending this remarkable show several times, our team was thrilled to once again immerse ourselves in its beauty and innovation.
A Celebration of Nature and Creativity
With a strong emphasis on emerging lifestyle trends, the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show promises to inspire visitors with stunning floral displays and spectacular Show Gardens. Attendees can also enjoy masterclasses with talented floral designers, meet prominent landscape designers, exhibitors, and industry experts, and explore a wide array of stalls offering everything from bulbs and plants to tools, trinkets, and garden accessories.
Some of the standout highlights for us included the beautiful integration of Australian native plants along with the interesting textures woven into hardscapes, and the incorporation of water features that bring a sense of movement and life to the gardens.
We were in awe of the incredible range of entries. But, we’d like to give a special mention to Rob Cooper and our friends at Distinctive Gardens. Congratulations on securing the prestigious Gold Award and Best in Show with the breathtaking e’skap design. Constructed by Yergan Landscape and Desert Flower Landscaping, this lush, vibrant space showcases a striking mix of Australian natives. It’s the perfect fusion of modern design and natural beauty.
The Show Gardens are always our favourite category of the event! Having participated in previous years, it was a fantastic opportunity to reminisce and reflect on the incredible talent that continues to define this iconic event.
